Supplied with every cylinder
Every Climacyl and EcoSlim heat pump cylinder comes with a full unvented kit. Heat pump models don’t need the boiler’s dual thermostat or zone valve.
- Expansion vesselTakes up the water’s expansion as it heats
- Inlet manifold blockPressure reducing valve, pressure relief valve, strainer and check valve in one block
- Temperature and pressure relief (T&P) valve
- TundishThe visible air gap on the discharge pipe

The EcoSlim Unvented Cylinder range from World Heat Cylinders is specifically engineered for installations where space is at a premium. As specialised cylinder manufacturers, we understand that size indeed matters! Consequently, our EcoSlim range provides high-performance unvented hot water storage with a reduced diameter, making it ideal for both new-build properties and challenging retrofit applications.
Available in high-quality stainless steel, these slimline cylinders offer a reliable and efficient solution without compromising on performance or durability.
Key Features of EcoSlim Unvented Cylinders
- Slimline Design (475mm Diameter): The core feature of the EcoSlim range is its 475mm overall diameter. This allows for installation in narrow airing cupboards, utility rooms, or other tight spaces where standard diameter cylinders (typically 550mm or more) simply won't fit.
- Ultra-Slim Option (400mm Diameter): For exceptionally restricted spaces, we also offer an Ultra-Slim range of hot water cylinders with an even smaller 400mm overall diameter (please see relevant product page for Ultra-Slim specific models).
- Unvented Performance: Delivers mains pressure hot water for powerful showers and fast-filling baths, ensuring excellent user satisfaction.
- High-Quality Stainless Steel Construction: Manufactured from Duplex stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and a long, trouble-free service life. This also contributes to a lighter unit compared to some traditional materials.
- High-Efficiency Insulation: Features high-density polyurethane foam insulation injected to minimise heat loss, reduce energy consumption, and keep running costs low. This also helps maintain water temperature for longer periods.
- Versatile Applications: Suitable for new-build homes, apartments, and retrofit projects where existing space dictates the need for a narrow cylinder.
- Plain or Pre-Plumbed Options: EcoSlim unvented cylinders can be supplied as plain units or as pre-plumbed packages, which can significantly reduce on-site installation time and complexity.
- Variety of Sizes and Capacities: While maintaining the slimline profile, the EcoSlim range is available in various heights to offer a selection of storage capacities to meet different domestic hot water demands.
