Report a fault

Tell us what’s wrong and send a few photos from your phone. The more we know up front, the more likely we can tell you the fix, or the part you need, when we call you back.

Water pouring out, or something that looks unsafe? Don’t wait for a reply: if you can do it safely, turn off the cylinder’s electrical supply and heat source, then phone us on 0161 343 8610 or your installer.

Only the fields marked * are required. Everything else helps us work out the fix before we call you back.

About you
I am the…

An email address or a phone number, so we can get back to you.

The cylinder

Where to find the model and serial number: on the data label, the printed sticker on the cylinder’s casing. It’s usually near the pipe connections or the controls; you may need to look round the side or open the cupboard door fully.

These two numbers tell us exactly which cylinder you have and when it was made, which usually saves a phone call. Can’t read it? Take a photo of the label below instead. The serial number may also be on the commissioning checklist at the back of the installation manual.

Photos

Photos help most: the data label, the whole cylinder, and close-ups of the problem (a leak, a valve, a warning light, the pipework).

Up to 10 photos. They’re shrunk on your phone, with location details taken out, and start uploading straight away, before you press Send.

Videos

Optional. A short video can show us a noise, a drip or a flashing light better than words.

Up to 3 videos, 200 MB each: MP4 or MOV, as your phone records them. They start uploading straight away to our private, secure storage, before you press Send. A long video on a slow connection can take several minutes: keep this page open. You can send your report as soon as the videos have finished uploading.

Installation

If you know. Installers: your own details are fine here.

Where the cylinder is

Only needed if we might have to visit.

Your data

We use these details and your photos to look into the fault, to contact you about it, and, if a visit is needed, to arrange it. Our technical team and, where needed, the engineer we send will see them.

We keep your report and photos while we deal with the fault and any warranty claim that follows it, then remove your personal details.

Photos and videos start uploading to our private storage as soon as you add them, before you press Send. Location details are taken out of photos first. If you don’t send the report, we delete them after 3 days.

Any videos you send are stored privately (they never have a public link) and seen only by World Heat staff dealing with the fault. We delete them automatically 12 months after your report, or sooner once they’re no longer needed.

Read our privacy notice for how we look after your data and your rights.

By sending this you acknowledge our privacy notice.

Haven’t registered your warranty yet? You can register it here. Problems with this form? Call us on 0161 343 8610.
