In detail

About Climacyl Heat Pump Cylinder

The Climacyl Heat Pump Cylinder range from World Heat Cylinders is meticulously engineered to deliver maximum efficiency and optimal performance in conjunction with modern heat pump systems. Understanding the unique demands of renewable heating technologies, these cylinders are available in high-quality stainless steel, ensuring longevity and reliability.

Efficient system operation hinges on careful design considerations. Consequently, our Climacyl cylinders feature specifically designed coils with the correct surface area and optimised flow rates. These factors are paramount for effective heat transfer from the heat pump to your stored domestic hot water.

Engineered for Heat Pump Applications

Heat pump systems operate at lower flow temperatures compared to traditional boilers. Therefore, the design of the hot water cylinder is critical. The Climacyl range addresses these specific needs by:

  • Maximising Coil Surface Area: Our heat pump cylinders incorporate coils with an exceptionally large surface area. This facilitates superior heat transfer, even with lower temperature inputs from the heat pump.
  • Optimising Flow Rates: The internal coil design ensures that water from the heat pump flows effectively through the cylinder, maximising contact time and heat exchange.
  • Reducing Heat Loss: High-density, foam-injected zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) insulation minimises standing heat losses, keeping your water hotter for longer and reducing the workload on your heat pump.
  • Material Choice: Offering options in highly corrosion-resistant Duplex Stainless Steel for ultimate durability.

With a wealth of experience in both specialist cylinder manufacturing and renewable technology system design, World Heat Cylinders can provide the most efficient solution to meet your specific heat pump system requirements.

Bespoke Options & Multi-Source Integration

We understand that not all heat pump systems are the same. For this reason, bespoke options are available on request for the Climacyl range. This includes, for example, Twin Coil or even Triple Coil cylinders designed for integrating multiple heat sources alongside your heat pump, such as solar thermal systems or a secondary boiler.
