In detail
About Twin Coil Superflow
The World Heat Cylinders' SuperFlow Twin Coil range features high-quality stainless steel unvented cylinders, specifically designed for applications utilising two separate heat sources. Typically, these are ideal for integrating a conventional boiler with a renewable energy source, such as solar thermal panels or, in some configurations, a heat pump. Our SuperFlow Twin Coil Unvented Cylinders are engineered to provide maximum efficiency and flexibility, with standard twin coil sizes from 90 to 500 litres, in ultra slim, slimline and standard diameters, and bespoke cylinders built to order.
Manufactured from premium Duplex stainless steel, these cylinders offer exceptional corrosion resistance and durability. They incorporate high-density, eco-friendly foam insulation to minimise heat loss, ensuring that energy from both heat sources is effectively stored and readily available.
Advantages of SuperFlow Twin Coil Systems
SuperFlow Twin Coil cylinders provide several key benefits for modern heating systems:
- Dual Heat Source Utilisation: Efficiently harness energy from two independent heat sources. For instance, a lower coil can be dedicated to a renewable source like solar thermal, providing primary heating, while an upper coil connects to a boiler for backup or boost heating.
- Maximised Renewable Energy Contribution: Prioritises the use of free or lower-cost renewable energy, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering energy bills.
- Consistent Hot Water Supply: Ensures reliable hot water availability, even when the primary renewable source is insufficient, thanks to the secondary coil.
- Space Saving: Integrates two heat inputs into a single cylinder, often saving plant room space compared to separate buffer and DHW cylinders.
- High Flow Rates: As unvented cylinders, they deliver mains pressure hot water to multiple outlets.
- Durability & Guarantee: Constructed from high-grade stainless steel and backed by our 25 year guarantee on stainless steel unvented cylinders up to 300 litres.
- Stainless steel cylinders over 300 litres: 12 months on the vessel, against a material defect or manufacturing fault.
- Quality Manufacturing: Built to ISO 9001 standards in our UK facility.
